Ahead of Sundays CAF Champions League second leg cracker against Egyptian giants, Zamalek SC of Egypt, Rangers International of Enugu are leaving nothing to chance in their effort to cancel the four goals to one defeat suffered in the first leg in Cairo by intensifying training and other preparations towards beating Zamalek SC on Sunday in Enugu and qualifying for the group stage of the championship.
A press release by Rangers, Director or public Relations, Media and Publicity, Foster Chime, says the management has done what is within its limits to ensure everything works out for a successful outing on Sunday, adding that Rangers players know what is at stake and are committed to total victory on Sunday.
General Manager, of Rangers International, Chairman Christian Chukwu is optimistic that with the players’ spirit very high and well motivated, he does not envisage Rangers not coming out victorious on Sunday against Zamalek.
According to Chukwu, Rangers management is partnering Globa Lottery to ensure fans of Rangers turns out in their large numbers to support Rangers to Victory as well as provide, adequate security, conducive environment for all those coming to watch Sundays match especially at the stadium gates and series of side attractions that are very innovative.
Meanwhile the chairman Rangers supporters club, Mr. Ibuchukwu Nwodo has called on all Rangers fans and supporters Nationwide to troop out on mass to Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday early enough to support Rangers against Zamalek in the second leg of the CAF Champions League for total victory.
It was gathered that the supporters club chairman, said the members after extra-ordinary meeting resolved that all their members will be in their Rangers traditional outfit on Sunday, early enough to cheer the team from blast of the whistle till the end of the game.
Rangers International of Enugu will on Sunday, 19th March, 2017 host the Egyptian giants in the second leg of the champions league round of 32 match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu by 4pm. Rangers lost the first leg to played in Cairo, four goals to one to Zamalak SC of Egypt.
Rangers FC media, report that Rangers Intl FC Enugu may not likely be without two of their two key players, Obinna Nwobodo and Orj Kalu, who were booked twice in the two games played and are likely to be replaced by other players.
