A fifteen-year-old Chioma Clement, who was allegedly abducted on her way to write the last Joint Matriculation Board JAMB exam, has sent a ‘save-my-soul’ message from her abductor’s den to her foster mother pleading with her to do everything possible to get her freed from her captors.
Chioma, according to her foster father, Emeka Orazuike, left home early morning that day to write the exam but has not returned till date.
Orazullike, who is a Pharmacist in Lagos, said all efforts to trace her proved abortive.
He said that her foster daughter whom he has lived with for eleven years allegedly sent a distress message to his wife with her (Chioma) phone alleging abduction by unknown people.
The text message which he showed reads: “Mummy, they took my phone and beat me up inside the bus; they said they know Mummy; I don’t know where they took me to. They made me sleep and said they will kill me if I run. Somebody who is with us helped me steal the phone. Let me return it before they come back. Mummy, save me please.”
Orazulike said Chioma sent the message about 12 hours after she left the house.
According to him, “On that day, I gave her N1,000 for transport to the school which is a stone throw to the house but I was suprise when my wife forwarded her message to me.
