2 Shot Dead, More than 150 Displaced in Ebonyi Violence

Two persons were yesterday shot dead, 10 houses burnt and properties worth millions of nai­ra looted in a renewed boundary dispute be­tween the people of Ochuenyim community in Ikwo Local Govern­ment Area of Ebonyi State and their neigh­bouring Adadama in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The incident led to the displacement of more than 150 persons. The two neighbouring com­munities have been in crisis for long with thou­sands of people killed and properties worth billions of naira destroyed.
Those killed are; Elija Nomeh and Agashi Onu­enyim all from Onueny­im in Ikwo Local Gov­ernment Area.
