2019 AAG:Nigeria Flag Hoisted in Morocco

Nigeria Flag was on Sunday hoisted at the  Internationale Universite in Rabat Morocco which is also known as the Games VIllage at the ongoing 12th edition of the All African Games.

Leader of Nigeria delegation to the ocassion,  Nigeria Olympic Committee president, Engr. Habul Gumel, Deputy Ambassador of Nigeria to Morocco,Yahaya Danjuma Farouk, officials from the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Athletes and other delegates from Nigeria.

The NOC President who was highly optimistic of his country chances in clinching the star price of the event said”I can tell you that we have done our home work and I am very confident that we are here to  win gold,gold,gold.Let me repeat again,we are here to win.”Gumel told the crowd.

In his response,the General Manager of the African Village, Yousoff Ouenzar said Nigeria contingent will enjoy a blissful stay in the Royal city of Rabat.

“Let me assure you that your stay in morocco will pleasant because we have put everything that will make you feel at home here.We understand the diplomatic relationship between Nigeria and the Royal Kingdom of Morocco. Just know that you are at home here.”

The opening ceremony for the 12th All African Games is billed to take place tomorrow(Monday) at the complexe sportif Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat Morocco.

54 African countries are participating in the 2019 edition.
