9-year-old Nigerian girl writes book on effects of terrorism on children, gets shout out from J. K. Rowling

In an exciting development, Miss Splendour Joe Abisoye has recently written a book titled “Effects of Terrorism on Children” and has presented same to the Defence Headquarters.

J. K. Rowling, a British novelist best known as the author of the Harry Potter fantasy series, could not hold her excitement at the development. She gave her a Twitter shout out here.

General Olukolade while receiving the book on behalf of the Defence Headquarters, noted that this is the type of encouragement parents should give to our children. He advocated that parents should continue to motivate their children to become the best they can be.
