Actor Sues President Buhari Over Ministerial Appointments

by on March 28, 2016

Barrister and actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has sued President Buhari to Court over ministerial appointments. The suit which comes up in the Federal High Court, Abuja with suit no: FHC/ ABJ / CS / 34 / 16 was to compel the President to appoint an indigene of the FCT as a Minister in Nigeria.

Barrister Kenneth Okonkwo said : “On November 11th, 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated 36 ministers from the 36 states of Nigeria without appointing an indigene of the Federal Capital Territory as Minister. This is unconstitutional and discriminatory and has led to tensions in the FCT as the indigenes are becoming restive. All efforts to get the President to appoint an indegene of the FCT failed hence the need for this suit to compel the President to do the needful and avert a possible break down of law and order with catastrophic consequences in the FCT”.

What a distraction? Does he think Buhari and his ministers are acting a film calle dNigeria in Nollywood or what? Is he looking for popularity or trying to tell Nigeria that he is also a barrister at law?
Go back to Nollywood and continue with your acting. 36 Ministers are already too many for the country that is at the moment having problems with her major source of revenue. Do you not read papers or at least listen to the news on radio and TV?

Barrister and actor, well done. It is good to be a barrister and much more better if that barrister can act very well, because his presentations in the law courts will be very interesting, especially when he acts the role of a lawyer or Judge in any movie. But my candid opinion and advice to you is this, next time when you dont know what to say on salient, topical National issues, please for the sake of God, PLEASE KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.

The constitution says atleast One minister each from every state including FCT total is 37 ministers, but a minister is nominated from katsina while buhari again from same katsina state is the minister of petroleum which shortchanged the slot of FCT. Katsina state to have minister nominee again buhari from same state is the minister of petroleum is CORRUPTION. At the end of his tenure Nigerians will probe buharigate#

Mr kenneth okonkwo, The Lord is your strength… Cause by this act it means you are a different nigerian that welcomes right and just things. Don’t be discouraged by some comments and distractions, set your goals and you will achieve, and your heart and mind will be free that you did the right thing.
God bless as you fight for justice.
