ANAMBRA | Those defecting from PDP to APC are political jobbers – Osita Chidoka

by on March 2, 2017
An Anambra State governorship aspirant, Chief Osita Chidoka, who was a former Minister of Aviation as well as Corp Marshall of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC), said that those defecting from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are not real members of the party but political jobbers.
Chief Chidoka made this assertion in Nnewi yesterday during his consultation visit to the executive members of PDP in the council area.
He noted that most of the defectors are politicians who defected from the party before only to find their ways back after their sojourn in those political parties.
Chief Chidoka said emphatically that PDP is a moving wagon in the state that is ready to crush any opposition and that his party would come up with a credible candidate for the governorship election.
He pointed out that the chances of his party is very bright in the forthcoming Anambra Governorship Election scheduled for November 18, noting that his party only need to protect the votes of the people by manning every polling unit during the guber poll.
The former minister said that whoever emerges as the PDP flag bearer would enjoy the support of every members of the party.
On what he would do differently if he makes it to the Government House, Chief Chidoka said he is consulting with the people after which he would make his manifestoes public.
Speaking on the crises rocking his party at the national level, Chief Chidoka said it is not abnormal to have issues in a political party and that resolving the issues amicably is what makes a party thick.
