Attempt To Impeach Buhari And Be Ready For War – Senator

by on June 6, 2018

A House of Representatives member, Rep. Muhammadu Kazaure (Jigawa-APC), has disassociated himself from National Assembly’s plan to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari.

A joint executive session of the both chambers of the Assembly earlier on Tuesday passed a 12-point condition for the president to address urgently or face the invocation of the powers of the legislature.

At a news conference shortly after the ultimatum to the president by the lawmakers, Kazaure said that he would not be part of such decision.

”Nobody will impeach the president as far as we are alive in this House because that day, it will be a war day,” he said.
He said that there were senators and members of the house who would not support such move.

The lawmaker urged Buhari to intervene in the matter in the interest of the country and the All Progressive Congress (APC).
”I am sure the president will take serious action and the whole thing will stop.

”You are aware that in 2015, we didn’t have money, we didn’t have power and we never intimidated anybody.

”God gave us this power; so, there is no need for this government to intimidate anybody because of re-election matter or any other reason.

”By now, we should try and be good to people; this is what we should concentrate on,” he said.

He said that with increase in oil price, the focus of government now should be on how to give Nigerians better welfare package.

”The people are complaining not only about security but poverty, hunger; even in my constituency, the people are complaining about this.”

Kazaure said that he was not in support of Buhari allowing some people to create problems for him by frustrating those who had helped the party to win the 2015 elections.

”These people have assisted us; we don’t want them to go; we want them to come together and assist the president again.

”So, the president must call those people to order because we will lose many votes if this crisis continues.

”That is why we have to call the attention of the president into this crisis because it is degenerating,” he said.
According to him, since I came into the National Assembly, I have never seen this hot joint session.

”This is why I decided to convene this press conference because if the executive, legislature and the judiciary work together, we will succeed,” he said.

He said it was disheartening that the people who had worked with the president from 2003 till date have been sidelined.
The lawmaker, however, called on the president to reconcile all the differences among the politicians.

A senator representing jigawa has stood out that He will not be part of impeaching the president from office because probably He is in the APC realm and would not want to tarnish the image of the president. To me He should be impeached because i can not ascertain the fact that he has something to offer Nigerians as we all are disappointed with with how he has gone

Impeachment is part of our constitution. If our leaders are breaching of constitution, the only way to tame them is by impeachment. Calling for war is out of place and that shows the shallow understanding of some of our so called leaders.

i’m tired of APC, the only language they speak is violence. Buhari’s impeachment is long overdue he’s ruling Nigeria like he wasn’t elected into office, now we have a president who lays blames instead of proffering solutions and we have a moron telling us its going to be war if he’s impeached i guess he’s one of those people profiteering off his incompetence.

    ”God gave us this power; so, there is no need for this government to intimidate anybody because of re-election matter or any other reason”? God gave you no power, it was stolen by your violent, murderous party. there will be no war because the President needs to be impeached, following these constitutional codes says;
.There must be a notice of any allegation in writing signed by not less than one-third of the members of the National Assembly. A PRIOR NOTICE HAS BEEN GIVEN
2.The Notice of Impeachment requires the signature(s) of at least one-third (1/3) of all the members of the National Assembly. That means among the 469 members in the National Assembly. A minimum of 157 members of the National Assembly must sign the notice to commence the process. THIS HAS BEEN TAKEN
3.It is then presented to the president of the senate in this case Bukola Saraki, stating that the holder of the office of President is guilty of gross misconduct in the performance of the functions of his office, detailed particulars of which shall be specified. DONE
4.The President of the Senate shall within seven days of the receipt of the notice cause a copy thereof to be served on the holder of the office and on each member of the National Assembly, and shall also cause any statement made in reply to the allegation by the holder of the office to be served on each member of the National Assembly. STILL ON PROCESS
5.Within fourteen days of the presentation of the notice to the President of the Senate (whether or not any statement was made by the holder of the office in reply to the allegation contained in the notice) each House of the National Assembly shall resolve by motion without any debate whether or not the allegation shall be investigated. The war i see here is the massacre of innocent citizens and nothing is done about it day and night.

APC members are still deciding on war when the war Buhari has caused is more than enough to be tolerated, when a child errs, his to be punished, that applies to Buhari,he should be impeached,if he doesn”t meet to the mandate giving to him. that means he has failed.

There will be no war. Buhari has lost it and he will pay dearly, he lives as a dictator intimidating people all over. Framing them with fake allegations. The NASS should just impeach him, infact it should have been done since before now. Lets vote out this APC and restore democracy #Dankwambo2019.

God is going to hear the prayers of nigerians. Mr president is trying in his own way because nigeria is too big and too difficult to rule. We are crying of buhari today, who knows what will happen if another man enters there tomorrow. The devil we know is bette than angel we dont know. Let us pray harder and allow God to do His will concerning nigeria. Mr. president is not bigger or greater than the Creator(GOD) of the whole universe.

Is it because some powerful people are suspected to be involved in Offa robbery case, that is why they gathered themselves together in conspiracy to impeach the president? Please let the police do their job diligently on the robbery case, and stop this nonsensical impeachment threat.
