Aubameyang under fire over Arsenal move

by on January 19, 2018

Borussia Dortmund are not happy with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s comments about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this month as the north London outfit seek to replace Manchester United-bound forward Alexis Sanchez with a proven goalscorer at the highest level.

Having been dropped from the first-team picture – not for the first time this season – for last weekend’s Bundesliga clash against Wolfsburg, it would appear that there’s very little chance that the 28-year-old has a long-term future at the Signal Iduna Park.

Speculation that he could join the Gunners before the January transfer window closes in less than two weeks heightened following Wenger’s comments during his press conference this morning where he discussed Aubameyang’s character as well as how he could integrate into the squad.
