Be Guided by People’s interest, Rep tells ministerial nominees

Following the commencement of the screening of the ministerial nominees by the Senate, the lawmaker representing Ojo Federal Constituency in the lower legislative chamber, Hon. Tajudeen Obasa has urged them to be guided by people’s interest for them to build worthy legacies during their reign in office.

The lawmaker expatiated on past achievements and attributed such development to the actions of competent ministers.

Hon. Tajudeen Obasa pleaded with them to remain steadfast, focus and always be blessed with the spirit of positivity that challenges facing the nation would surely be surmounted

In a statement released on Tuesday by his media office, he attributed the success of the nation to the inputs of ministers at the weekly Federal Executive Council.

The Statement reads ” For a country to build formidable institutions, the country must be in possession of competent individuals. Weekly meetings of the Federal Executive Council is the highest decision making body in the country. Since the constitution requires individuals from various states, it is necessary for them to be up to the task by contributing immensely to discussions targeted towards nation building. Portfolios may differ, but for a memorandum to be accepted, the input of all is needed.
