Breaking! Appeal Court declares PDP’s Chidoka winner of Idemili Federal Constituency

The Appeal Court sitting in Enugu has declared Honourable Obinna Chidoka as the duly elected House of Representatives member representing Idemili North and Idemili South federal constituency of Anambra State.

The court sacked All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)’s candidate Ibezi Ifeanyichukwu, who was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the February 23 National Assembly election in the state.

INEC has been ordered to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Ifeanyi Ibezi of APGA and issue same to Obinna Chidoka of PDP.

Honorable Obinna Chidoka confirmed same in his tweet.

Obinna Chidoka, 45, is the younger brother of Chief Osita Chidoka, the former minister of aviation.

He is A sociology graduate of University of Lagos, he was the chairman of the House committee on environment and habitat in the 8th Assembly. He was the youngest member of the House of Representatives in the 6th Assembly where he had his first stint from June 2007-July 2008.

His victory has sparked celebrations on social media, especially among his followers and supporters.
