Buhari Lied When He said “I will Rescue Chibok Girls Alive” – Obasanjo

by on February 6, 2016

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has faulted the statement credited to President Muhammadu Buhari where he said he will rescue the kidnapped Chibok girls alive.

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo opined that anyone saying the girls would return was simply lying.

Obasanjo blamed past President, Goodluck Jonathan for trivializing the distress call to rescue the girls on the day they were abducted.

He said, “The former president heard about the kidnap 8am in the morning of the abduction but failed to act until 72 hours later and by then it was too late.”

“Anyone saying the Chibok girls will return is telling lies, maybe some of them will return to tell their story.”

Can obj keep quiet a bit? His advice is not needed now or any more for doing unpardonable harm to Nigeria. Go home to your family and make peace. The open letter from your daughter tokumbo speaks volume of whom you really are. Gbenga your son has his own can of worms to open against you. your university, otta farm, library, 3rd term suicide and other common wealth of the common people Nigeria you confiscated at their expense are enough to keep you silent forever. Would he hear?

This statement, i will rescue Chibok girls alive, credited to Buhari, and now being re echoed by Obasanjo, is never a lie, as Obasanjo wanted the public to believe. It was the collective will of the people, agitating for the girls to be brought back, as a good leader with high dose of empathy and sympathy, Buhari made that state out of determination, that if the girls are still alive, he will do everything possible to bring them back. I therefore conclude, that the statement was made out of courage, but errorneous, and the error does not make it a lie, but a mistake, more so, since the war against Boko Haram has not ended.

some times we Nigerians allow ourselves to be brainwash by all this good for nothing but criminal minded politicians just to achieve their political ambition and dump us. buhari and obasanjo know very well that there is nothing like chibok girls. it was stage manage by buhari to achieve his political gains. i pity this jobless woman Ezekwesiri who allow herself to be use and dump by buhari i thought by now she will by giving a private duplex in asso rock. shame on her i pity her husband as i know what my fellow man is passing through in the hands of this untrained and uncivilised woman . she is no longer campaigning for the return of the chiboks let alone seeing them. i dont know why igbos will allow themselves to be use in sensitive national issues always.

I always wonder in my mind, why people always derive pleasure, in abusing and insulting people unecessarily when making comments on social media platform such as this. Obunmeke should realise that if he cannot respect anyone, he should at least respect himself.
