President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, returned to Nigeria this morning, with strong indications that he might choose to make a quiet entry devoid of any fanfare.
Unlike the elaborate arrangement made when he returned to Nigeria after his presentations at the Chatham House in London, Buhari is said to have asked for a low-keyed reception after a six-day trip to the United Kingdom.
He was spotted walking alone without any of his close aides this morning upon his arrival in Abuja.
Some reports earlier in the week alluded to the idea of a trip to London for medical check up ahead of the rigors of the final inauguration activities this weekend in Abuja. The trip to London was scheduled secretly and not even his personal aides were availed of his travel itinerary as one of them confided in THISDAY that they have not been informed of the details of Buhari’s airport formalities.
