Buhari will return to Nigeria, today – Dasuki

by on March 6, 2017

Former Minister of State for Information, Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande, has disclosed that information reaching him suggests that President Muhammad Buhari may come back to Nigeria today.

He stated this during a special prayer session for the quick recovery of the president which held yesterday at the Jos Central Mosque.

“From the information I gathered, President Buhari is hale and sound and may come back today (yesterday) or tomorrow (today). All what is needed from us is prayer for the full recovery and God’s guidance for the president to deliver his campaign promises,” he said.

Nakande said President Buhari has been speaking with different stakeholders, including the leadership of the National Assembly, saying the Senate president, Bukola Saraki, who visited the Nigerian leader in London, had confirmed that the president is doing well.

The ex-minister said those wishing the president death do not mean well for Nigeria. “It is only Buhari that can take this nation out of the mess it found itself,” he said.

Hundreds of clerics participated in the special prayer session.

Mr President is a good man who cares about the interest of his people. Most especially, the peoples who voted for him.

But He is bereft of ideas and will serve Nigeria better if He could just step aside.

If Buhari is the only person that can deliver nigeria, then nigeria is doomed. Reckless speech.

It’s insulting to say Buhari is the only one that can take Nigeria out of the woods. Maybe we thought along that line before election that brought him to power. Not so again today. What with happenings in the way Nigeria is being governed on his assumption of office as President of Nigeria. Total disappointment in all areas except the fight against insecurity. Corruption is still endemic here. By the look of things, Buhari is not in full control of governing the country. The so called cabals do the button pressing on the remote control and the entire country bleeds at the expense of a handful few selfish people because the president is getting weak, his mind is failing and is no longer active. He meant well for the country but alas he would have done better should he’ve been president some ten years past. The Buhari we voted for is definitely not the Buhari today. Much as I wish him quick recovery and safe return back home,Buhari must know that he is fighting corruption with fear, protecting and shielding fat cows that make up the cabal that surround him, turning blind eyes to atrocities committed by fulanis against defenceless Agatus, Igbos and others, ostensibly because he is a fulani, majority of Nigerians go to sleep with empty stomach, inflation rate is over 100% and if you doubt this go and do market survey of essential food, provisions and basic building materials and above all, where is the monies said to have been recovered from treasury looters? All of this must be addressed. I disagree with you for saying Buhari is the only one. Only a fool will reason along that line. Nigerians are no fools so forget that rubbish please. After all, during this short period the president have been on vacation, things have dramatically improved. The dynamites in Niger Delta no longer boom, production and price of crude oil has improved, naira is waxing stronger against the dollar and genuine peace initiatives among feuding ethnic groups were launched and pursued with sincerity. Nigeria has not packed up. Intact the joke doing the rounds now is that Buhari ‘s return shouldn’t turn hands of the clock backwards by dismantling the modest achievements recorded during his absence from Nigeria with his archaic and uncoordinated rigid economic and political policies. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
