Chidozie Awaziem going nowhere, says Genk

After several delays, French Ligue 1 club FC Nantes have announced they have signed Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem on a season-long loan deal from FC Porto.
He is the second signing under new manager Claudio Ranieri after Joris Kayembe late last month.
Last season, the 20-year-old central defender or defensive midfielder featured for Porto second team after he turned out for the main team the previous campaign.
The player, who is from the Jos youth club of Eagles skipper Mikel Obi, has been in Portugal since 2014.
He made his Eagles debut last month in an ill-fated AFCON qualifier against South Africa in Uyo, which Nigeria lost 2-0.
