Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke found the back of the net for the fifth time in four games in Sweden with a goal in AIK 2-0 win over Oestersunds FK in the Swedish top flight league.
Obasi rounded up victory for AIK in the 83rd minute to help them see off the game with ease, and in the process scored his 5th league goal since moving to Sweden in the summer.
He has found the back of the net in four consecutive games since his first goal against Orebro on the 21st of August in a 2-0 away win for AIK.
The 30 year old in the run up to yesterday’s game scored against Djurgarden, Norrkoping and got his first brace of the season against Elfsborg.
Speaking after the game, he credit his recent run in front of goal on his new found fitness, and also made himself available to new coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr.
“Not surprised am scoring goals now, as a matter of fact, I feel fitter than ever. I could get a call up to the Nigeria team. All I can say is I still have a lot to offer if called up,” according to Owngoalnigeria.com
