Chinese Club signs Odion Ighalo for £20m

Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo is reportedly heading to China as Chinese Super League side,  Changchun Yatai makes a £20m move for the former Watford  Striker.

The bid was accepted by Watford after an earlier bid of £15m was rejected with West Brom also sufferring a setback in their bid to sign the former Granada man due to the Hornets’ huge demands.

The Premier League side on Monday decided to cash in on the misfiring forward who is now set to venture to the moneybags Chinese Super League days before the winter transfer Deadline Day.

Another Chinese club, Shanghai Shenhua, were exploring the possibility of pairing Ighalo with Carlos Tevez, the world’s highest-paid player on £600,000-a-week.
