#COVID19: Abuja Streets Empty As Residents Comply With The #StayAtHome Order [PHOTOS]

by on March 30, 2020

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) seem to be law abiding, as evidently seen in streets, after a curfew was imposed restricting movement, in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The Personal Assistant to Nigerian Ruler on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, yesterday took to his twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad and wrote:

“Majority of Abuja streets are empty this evening. Glad to see people religiously complying with the Federal Government’s call to #StayAtHome due to the confirmed cases of #COVID19 in the city.”
