by on February 26, 2016

Swedish top-flight club AIK Stockholm has opened contract talks with Dickson Etuhu amid interest from J League side Nagoya Grampus and unnamed MLS teams.
The Nigeria international is in the final ten months of his contract with AIK and can pen a preliminary contract with another club as early as this summer if he does not extend his current contract.
“It is as always a puzzle with building the squad but we know we want Dickson. We intend to offer him a new contract soon, ” sports director Bjorn Wesstrom said.
“His importance to the team is great and we want to build on. Based on how his first year developed we hope to agree a new contract with him.”
The 32-year-old Etuhu spent 14 years of his professional career with English clubs before switching to AIK in December 2014.
