Embattled Ibinabo Fiberesima’s son fights for F/Eagles shirt

Sean Liam Coughlan, son of the embattled President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima is desirous of playing for the national U-20 team, the Flying Eagles as he showcases his skill expecting coach Emmanuel Amuneke to give him the nod.
The youngster was spotted yesterday at the Flying Eagles training session at the Abuja National Stadium.

The 17 year old boy, who plays amateur football in England was a delight to watch as he entertained the scanty crowd that watched the training with skill. Though he was substituted midway in the training, as he looked fatigued owing to the very hot weather. He said he was determined to fight for a shirt in the team.

Amuneke has been drilling the players ahead of the African Youths Championship qualifiers against Burundi next month.
The young player’s mother Ibinabo, is going through rough times presently, as the screen diva has been convicted to serve a five year jail term for manslaughter. She was said to have caused the dead of a Lagos-based medical doc­tor some years back around the Lekki axis in a car crash.

Meanwhile, coach Amuneke has sensationally dropped one of the U-17 World Cup star, David Enogela from his team’s training camp due to injury.

It was learnt the promising defensive midfielder came to the camp with the injury and Amuneke could not keep him as he is focused on building a team from the readily available players.
Enogela, 18, was an ever-present at last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile.
