Enyimba Triumphs in Tunisia

by on April 21, 2016

Enyimba International literally pulled the chestnut out of fire in Sousse, Tunisia last night as it defeated Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia 4-3 on penalty to qualify for the money-spinning group stage of the CAF Champions League.

The pulsating game had ended 3-0 against the Nigerian two-time CAF Champions League winners, who won the first leg 3-0 in Port Harcourt a fortnight ago.

With the aggregate score at 3-3, the state was set for the decisive penalty shootout, and against all odds, including a hostile home crowd, Enyimba triumphed 4-3 at the end of the shootout.
