EXPOSED | How Pro-APGA Business Tycoon Attempted to Compromise INEC Results

There was plenty of trouble at Ihiala Federal Constituency of Anambra State as business mogul, Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi of Nest Oil fame tried to influence an INEC Returning Officer from announcing PDP victory at the polls.
In what was a clear violation of laid down electoral laws, after the results were publicly counted and announced at the Polling Units and also at the Wards and Local Government levels, Chief Ernest Azudialu met the INEC returning officer and allegedly bribed him in order to influence and announce an overall result in favor of his political godson and APGA House of Reps candidate, Momah Chudy Ifeanyi. This action by Chief Ernest Azudialu resulted in a delay of about 4 hours in announcing Presidential and National Assembly election results in Ihiala Federal Constituency.
Even the presence of Governor Willy Obiano who advised the business tycoon to allow democracy flow its course was met with deaf ears. Chief Ernest Azudialu boasted that it will be over his dead body before his APGA candidate lost the election. Chief Ernest Azudialu reinforced his stand with over 500 armed thugs whose presence sent shivers down the spines of the people of Ihiala.
Our sources monitoring the elections in Ihiala and environs reported that money running to the tune of hundreds of millions were freely carried and passed around with a view to changing the verdict of Citizens who voted PDP in a landslide victory.
The Situation turned ugly when the people became worried that it would become a hopeless if the INEC officials failed to announce the results in front of everyone, and seized the situation beating up Chief Ernest Azudialu. Chief Ernest Azudialu was only saved by his thugs who had a hard time freeing their boss from the clutches of concerned citizens of Anambra.

He should be arrested for disrupting an electoral process. My question is who gave him ingress. He should be arrested and tried. And subsequently remanded and convicted. It’s an offense to bribe a public officer. He should be used as deterrence to others.
