Fashola debunks allegation linking him to N166BN Scam

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has debunked an online publication aligning him with N166 billion contract scam.
A statement by the minister’s media aide, Hakeem Bello described the publication as false and misleading.
The statement said the present economic recession should be blamed for low construction work and not the minister.
It was gathered that the Senate had accused Fashola of alleged violation of laws guiding contract awards.

According to him, “I draw the attention of the country to some infraction and corruption between the Ministry of Power and the Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP).
