AS Roma can confirm that it has exercised its option to sign young players Sadiq Umar and Abdullahi Nura on a permanent basis.
The double-deal with Spezia includes a €2.5 million fee for each player. Both players have signed four-year contracts that expire on 30 June 2020.
The Nigerian duo spent the 2015-16 season with Roma’s Primavera squad, as Alberto De Rossi’s side went on to win the Italian championship.
In November striker Sadiq made his debut for the first team, going on to score two goals in six appearances so far for the Giallorossi.
