FLASH | Boko Haram Returns Kidnapped Dapchi Schoolgirls (FULL DETAILS)

by on March 21, 2018

The schoolgirls kidnapped from Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi, in Yobe State, have been returned to the town by Boko Haram insurgents, according to report.

A resident confirmed the development to our reporter.

According to the resident, the insurgents returned the girls in the early hours of Wednesday few minutes after soldiers were withdrawn from the town. The militant group came with the girls in 9 vehicles same way they took them away.

There was confusion in the area as members of the community scampered into the bush as the terror group appeared in the area, first dropping off one the girls in a nearby village and then driving into the center of Dapchi town to drop off the rest of the girls.

Five of the girls are dead according to our source. It is not clear if the Nigerian government paid any ransom to get the girls released.

“We are happy. There is jubilation in Dapchi now as the girls are back,” the resident said.

We are monitoring the story and will update as soon as we have fresh fact.

The insurgents invaded the Government Girls Science Technical College, GGSTC, Dapchi, in Yobe State on February 19, and abducted the students.

This is a wellcome development. But a CNN news this morning has said only 50 girls were released. Contrary to Breaking Times report that all the girls were released.

I can’t understand this issue of Boko Haram, despite long years of war with FG&killing everywhere by Boko Haram, but now they came freely with 9 buses to drop Dapchi girls in village center,re they no longer terrorism?from terrorism to bus drivers, without interruption they enter town to drop girls, than why re we fighting them since chibok girls was kidnapped?no element of truth in all, shame on blood suckers&those who uses humans blood for politics&shame on Nigerian men of God who fold their hands watching blood flowing like river Just becos they re afraid, after all bloodshed politicians comes to their church&they anoint them becos of money, nigeria hungry men of God

Comment…This is shocking. Who removed the soldier before abducting and who ordered the soldier to leave the road before the returning of those girls? I don’t understand what is happening in Nigeria. what a bad leadership playing politics with lives. This is clear corruption.
