FLASH| Bribery in Hallowed Places, Omolori Pays Bribe to be Clerk of National Assembly

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused Mohammed Sani-Omolori, Clerk of House of Representatives of giving a bribe of N500million to be promoted Clerk of the National Assembly.

A few days back, BREAKINGTIMES published that Senate president, Bukola Saraki rejected the appointment of Mohammed Sani-Omolori, as the Clerk to the Assembly.   Saraki Rejects Omolori As Clerk To The National Assembly

Mr Sani-Omolori was named the acting Clerk to the National Assembly on Wednesday, April 20 but the Senate President Bukola Saraki opined that Ben Efeturi, who is currently the deputy clerk to the National Assembly was next in line to replace Salisu Maikasuwa, who is proceeding on pre-retirement leave this month.

The Peoples Democratic Party via the party’s official Twitter handle, @PdpNigeria alleged that N500m bribe was given to Adamu Mohammed Fika, head of National Assembly Commission to breach due process.
