FLASH| Nigerians Blast Festus Keyamo For Defending Ese Oruru’s Abductors (VIDEO)

by on March 1, 2016

Supposed Human Rights lawyer, Festus Keyamo will not forget 29 Feb 2016, in a hurry.  In an unexpected tweet, which was rather unbecoming of his garb as a human rights lawyer, Festus Keyamo through his twitter account tweeted concerning Ese Oruru, the 14 year old girl that was abducted from Bayelsa to Kano State and forced into marriage, “If it’s true Ese is 17 & her ‘abductor’ 18, it’s just a case of 2 young lovers playing pranks. Their parents should unite and marry them off”

What he did not expect was the backlash from Nigerians who were obviously miffed by the tweet.

Did you say he WAS a human rights lawyer, well not anymore. Materialism is his cloak, he just exposed his true self to the uninitiated. Fake activist.

This issue is one that should be critically examined. It’s most probable the girl was experiencing hell while under her parents to warrant her seeking refuge elsewhere as evident in the original story where it was alleged that the guy who took him away has a history of caring for her coupled with the fact that the girl has come out to say she does not fancy the idea of returning to her parents. Don’t judge me if you can’t die for my sins!
