by on December 21, 2015

A Federal Capital Territory, FCT High Court has ordered that former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd) should be remanded in Kuje prison pending when he meets the conditions of his bail. The case was adjourned till February 2 and 3, 2016.

Justice Peter Affem while granting the accused persons bail, held that: “bail was not about setting anybody free but the primary essence of bail is to ensure that the accused person attends trial”,  Stating that the offences the accused persons were alleged to have committed were bailable.
