FLASH | Terrorists Kill 5 People in Niger State For Failing To Recite Quranic Verses

Five traders were killed by Terrorists after they failed to recite the Holy Quran at the Madala Market in Niger state last week Thursday.

The armed terrorists on reaching the market, went to one of the lines where the traders sold their wares and immediately ordered them to recite verses of the Holy Quran of which they could not.

The terrorists satisfied that their victims could not recite any verse from the Holy Quran, then opened fire at close range, killing all five of them. The five casualties have been identified as John Kalu, Oliver Ezemah, Uche Nguweze, Sunday Emmanuel while fifth casualty is yet to be identified.

The terrorists escaped before the Police arrived the scene of the incident.

Niger State police Command spokesman ASP Richard Adamu Oguche confirmed the incident and said the police was in search of the militants.
