Harry Kane has been awarded what seems like a dubious goal after the Premier League Goal Accreditation Appeals Panel awarded him Tottenham Hotspur’s 2nd goal against stoke over the weekend.
The ball seemed to have gone in without anybody touching it from Christian Eriksen’s free kick but Harry Kane claimed to have scored it on the pitch and after the game telling the press:
“I swear on my daughter’s life that I touched the ball, but there’s nothing I can do,” he added.
“If they turn it around, they turn it around. If they take my word, they take my word.
“It is what it is – the most important thing is that we won the game.”

Spurs appealed the initial award of the goal to Christian Eriksen and today’s decision means Kane now has 25 goals moving just 4 goals behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah who has 29 goals in the race for the EPL’s highest goal scorer this season.
