by on April 26, 2016

Tears flowed Tuesday morning as Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State visited Ukpabi, Nimbo, in Uzo-Uwani local government area of the state.

Ugwuanyi, who could not hold back his tears was in the company of Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Nwodibo Ekechukwu, the GOC 82 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, as well as the Enugu State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.

The Governor, thereafter, declared two days fasting and prayer in the State, asking residents to commit the situation into God’s hand.

The visit coincided with the recovery of one more dead resident, who was slaughtered by the herdsmen.

This is as many survivors, with varrying degrees of injuries on the head, neck, and other parts of the body are currently receiving treatment in different hospitals in Nsukka.

As at the time of filling this report, some of them are being moved to the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Parklane, Enugu.

Details later…

Comment…this is just a trap dat the federal Govmt is settin to nail or label IPOB as a terrorist group so dat they will see evidence to jail kanu, but it won’t work cos the group is not terrorist group as we were meant to believe. The federal govmt and DSS want IPOB to retaliate so that they will reason to call the group terrorist group. Instead of findin those that are sponsoring the herdsmen with such weapon they are busy lookin for a way to paint IPOB as terrorist group.

those who are asking to be elected as governors of their state should be ready to lay down their lives for their people, not weeping governors. what stops you from making a law to disarm the FULANI men and prosecute them as the Niger state governor did..when will ndigbo stand up and fight?
