by on March 30, 2017

Two kidnappers were on Monday night killed when they engaged the operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Rivers State Police Command in a gun battle in a forest in Umuebulu, Etche Local Government Area.
The kidnappers were on their way to receive ransom for the release of three victims in their den when they were trailed and killed by the police.
The state Police Command Public Relations Officer, Mr Nnamdi Omoni, who confirmed the incident, said that the operatives played along with the kidnappers who were waiting for the ransom, traced them to the forest in Umuebulu where the kidnapped victims, Amadi Okey, Comrade Stanley Odioye and Princess Maduegbulam were blindfolded and held captive.
Omoni said: “The hoodlums on sighting the police engaged them in a gun duel and in a return fire, two of the hoodlums were fatally wounded, while the other two escaped with bullet wounds.”
He said that the hostages were rescued and handed over to their families after being debriefed, adding that the operatives were combing the bushes with a view to arresting the fleeing hoodlums and recovering their weapons.
Meanwhile, two locally made guns, 10 cartridges were recovered from the kidnappers.
Similarly, the operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit have arrested one Kelvin Goodluck and two others for driving a suspected stolen Green Toyota Camry car with Registration Number: MUS 226 DF, along Aba Road, Port Harcourt.
In a press statement, Omoni said that the suspects who were interrogated confessed and led operatives to a car stand at Osisioma along Aba/Enugu Expressway, where one Chibuna Onyema and Lambert Nwodu were arrested and eight other suspected stolen cars recovered from them.

It really baffles me and other concerned nigerian on every day read up on how the young, youth and the old once always engange or confront our security forces every day by day and at the end of it a life will be lost either from the security force the crime suspecct who want to reap on what they did not soled. I think from my own perspective the govt should be blame for all this fall out that is happen every were in our country becos they have failed to plan for the people who they are surpose to careter for but they are bix stolen the wealth that is surpose to be distributed for all are now share among them which in varible poses a security threat, if the poor people do not equal opportuties to share from the wealth thereby engage the other means of surviving and they fail in all ramification such as,salay is either slash or are not paid beyoung reasonable period e.g for more than two years, price of food beyoung poor man reach, drinkable water zero, electricity 100 years to come no good plan for that but always allocate huge a mount etc

Govt should be hold responsible for all this ill-manners presently destroying the hope of surviving of every house hold which has push them to a certain extend through which the people will have to engange in one evil act or another for the purpose of meeting-up hence need. For every act done whether good or bad there is alway an implication of it either now or later, that is to say a society were there is high political corruption always experiennce uncontrollable securities challenges as what we are facing today.

Govt do some fast, before it get out of securities control. No food,no water, rentage out of control -salary are poorly motivated,no job opportunities for the youth to engage on, sack, sack, everywhere-implication more securities challenges, e.t.c . We need a quick economical change and not verbal change we been hearing before and after election. Many home are collapsing things are no longer working for us i peter am personally throwing challenges to all our leaders elected that we believe you that is why we all voted for you all we knows that you are all men and women of good character in office to turn-around the every things in this country to become great again.
