Three tertiary institutions of learning in Osun State, shut on March 18, in the wake of violent protests that rocked Ilesa, have been ordered to reopen.
The order was given by Governor Gboyega Oyetola after due consultations with stakeholders – heads of the affected institutions, parents and the leadership of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC.
That much information was revealed in a statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Adeniyi Adesina in Osogbo, on behalf of the governor.
The institutions ordered to reopen are: Osun State College of Education, Ilesa; the School of Health Technology, Ilesa; and the Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke.
