Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr, and the team got a major boost ahead of theSeptember 1, Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying match against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, as star striker, Kelechi Iheanacho is set to return to training with his EPL side, Leicester City.
Iheanacho, who joined the former EPL champions at the summer has featured just once for the Foxes, against Arsenal on the league opening day.
The forward however missed out of the second game after he got an injury during training, but feels well now after announcing he is back via his official Twitter account.
“Happy to be back on the pitch @Ndidi25,” he posted.
The forward’s return will definitely put a smile on the face of Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr, ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Cameroon in September.
