I Am Not Interested in Continuing With Under-17’s, Emmanuel Amuneke Reveals

by on December 26, 2015

Emmanuel Amuneke believes he has served his duty and achieved all he can with the national youth team after leading them to victory in the 2015 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Chile in November.

“I have been in this category for years and to be honest I am not interested in continuing with the under-17s,” he told Nigeria Info FM. “We have to be honest with ourselves.

“One has to move forward and I am looking forward to the next challenge. We will see what the future brings.”

This is the most difficult stage in football development because you have to start affresh in search of new talents from every academy, streets and ex-where. however, this stage is the least paid and recognised in nigeria. i suggest improving on sallrrary and other benefits including recognition. thanks
