Bayelsa State Gubernatorial aspirant, Moses Siloko Siasia has vowed to to be accountable to the citizens of Bayelsa State when he becomes Governor of the State. He made the commitment in a brief speech delivered to young Bayelsa stakeholders on Saturday at Aridolf Hotel, Yenagoa.

According to Mr. Siasia, “Leadership without accountability equals total failure. In my business I am accountable to my clients and my employees. In my personal life I am accountable to my family and my friends. As Governor, I will be accountable to the citizens of Bayelsa. I make no excuses. I am fully responsible for all that happens under my leadership.”

Speaking further, he reiterated that his administration will be transparent. “My team will be empowered, and the people of Bayelsa will have a leader who listens, is respectful, and humbled by the call to serve. The world is changing all around us. We must employ new ways and means of adjusting to today’s delicate and ever changing economy. Bayelsa’s economy today is stagnant, and leadership is non-existent. Join me in doing away with the corrupt, self-serving ways of the past. Lets usher in a new era of accountability for the people of Bayelsa”, he declared.
