Just before you further destroy Imo state again with your votes, just for the sake of the very poor who can hardly feed, make the critical decison to vote Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha of Imo PDP as governor today.
Among the other contestants, Ihedioha has done better than others. His sterling antecedents speak volumes for him.
A peep into the activities of other candidates and their sins against Imo people.
Sen. Ifeanyi Araraume
It is an open secret to all imolites that our pains in the hands of the incumbent government of Rochas Okorocha was inflicted upon by senator Ifeanyi Ararume.
In 2015, Ararume reportedly collected a certain amount of money from the incumbent governor just to help him subvert the will of Imo people.
In his own case, “since I can’t get it”, Imo people will suffer the consequences.
The evil alliance against the poor was the reason his son was appointed commissioner by the present government.
Again, Senator Ararume has been working hard to get Buhari re-elected in 2019 against the will of Nigerian people.
Senator Ararume can never be trusted as he will trade Imo state for anything, just to expand his political territory.
Today, the only thing every imolite know him for is that he has enough money to throw around.
It’s a no-no for senator Ararume.
Chief Uche Nwosu.
Ordinarily, some would have said let’s support him because of his age, but sincerely, age should not be the only reason to choose a governor.
In the past three years plus, Chief Uche Nwosu has practically been the governor of Imo state, while Rochas Okorocha is concentrating on the politics of the state. Uche Nwosu has been behind the anti-people policies of the government of the day and untold hardship meted out on Imolites.
If Imo state of today is your ideal state, you can stick with him, he has given his all already.
If you desire a better Imo state for Imo people by Imo people, then Uche Nwosu is a big No.
Sen. Hope Uzodimma.
While some still question his activities in the past and how he made his money, some have decided to leave him in judgment with his God and his conscience.
Most important for Imo people today is to avoid another Tinubu in Imo state.
It is already in every ear, how the Jagaban of Lagos politics, Bola Tinubu is trying earnestly to force Senator Hope Uzodimma down the throat of Imo people, just like many states in the South-west, we can not afford a state under the control of Tinubu, where a governor can not appoint a commissioner unless approved from Lagos state. His low quality representation Imo West senatorial district (Orlu zone) in the Senate I there for all to see.
Imo state rejected the familiocracy of Rochas Okorocha and won’t accept another by Tinubu, using Hope Uzodimma.
For Imo people, Hope Uzodimma is a No-No.
Rt. Hon. Emeka Nkem Ihedioha
I have consistently searched for good reasons why Ihedioha should not be supported, I have asked questions and I’m still asking.
Some people say he is from Mbaise, to Imo people, if that is a sin, he (Ihedioha) is a saint.
Some say he doesn’t share money in functions, to Imo people, that is not a point to discuss.
The question Imo people are asking today is, did Ihedioha disappoint Ndi Imo as a federal legislator?
The answer is that, Ihedioha facilitated to Imo State more than 146 projects, most of them are multi-million Naira projects, some others are billion-Naira projects.
These projects are very dear to Imo people.
Examples are; Mbaise ring road project, a 30-kilometer road cutting across all local government areas in Mbaise, down to Mbano in Okigwe zone.
132kva power sub-station within Amaohuru /Ibeku communities 90% completed.
Construction /Dualization of Owerri -Elele (Omerelu) road.
Ultra modern waste recycling facility and dredging of Oguta lake, both in Orlu zone, among many other landmark projects.
If all these projects as can be seen and attested to by Imolites are to be considered, and if performance is a criteria for choosing our leaders, then Imolites have that in Ihedioha (Omenkeahuruanya).
For a better Imo state of our collective dreams,
Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha is a capital YES-YES as he seeks to Rebuild Imo.
