The Department of Security Service (DSS) has refused to vacate the Abuja residence of the immediate past National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.) to allow him travel for medical treatment abroad, even after The Federal High Court (FHC) sitting in Abuja had on Friday directed the DSS to lift their siege on Dasuki’s home.
“They are still holding the former NSA hostage despite the court order. Can you imagine how they are gradually (making) the nation (descend) into a totalitarian (state.) When an agency of government can openly disregard a court order not only once but on several occasions, deciding what and when to obey, is pure dictatorship,” a source close to Dasuki said.
The Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Alhaji Abubakar Malami (SAN), is expected to appear in court on Monday (15-11-2015) to explain the siege laid to the Abuja residence of Col. Sambo Dasuki.
