JUST IN: Buhari Okays Establishment Of 20 Private Universities

The Federal Executive Council, (FEC) has okayed the establishment of 20 new private universities across Nigeria.
The memo sent through the Ministry of Education was okayed on Wednesday.
The twenty new private universities will be issued provisional licenses to run for three years while the ministry monitors and evaluates their growth.
Following the approval, the total number of private universities in the country has risen to 99.
