Gwamma who heeded the plea by the Union to consider issues of casualization amongst others, also sought the partnership of the members of the NUEE to enable the company achieve its strategic plans, as well as to surmount the myriad of challenges bedevilling the growth of electricity sector in Nigeria.

Responding, the General Secretary of NUEE, Comrade Joe Ajero pledged to support Kano Disco to ensure that the company succeeds in its effort aimed at improving electricity supply to Nigerian in its franchise area.

Ajero also disclosed that contrary to insinuations in some quarters, the Union was not in a power tussle with the management of electricity distribution companies, investors or government agencies, noting that NUEE has a responsibility to ensure that the rights of its members were not infringed upon at any time.
