KOGI ELECTION| Confusion as APC Calls for Emergency Stakeholders Meeting

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has put on hold the nomination of Yahaya Bello as the governorship candidate of the party in the coming re-run in the state.

The party is currently holding an emergency “stakeholders” meeting with the aim of resolving ongoing political impasse.

    The issue at hand in Kogi has gone beyond the ordinary for selfish interest at the expense of the electorate is on motion.The electoral umpire that presided over the election failed is first test for the reason best known to him,the leadership of our dear party in APC in Kogi state saddled with the responsibility to mediate well in-between couldn’t come up well enough with proper interpretation of the law.I hope and pray the national leaders of the party resolve the issue in lawful and acceptable manner by presenting JAMES FALEKE that has gone through the rigorous path of electioneering till present moment.God bless Nigeria !

    There is lack of competencies among the party leadership. For now we do really need replacement by any candidate but government should appoint the sole military administrator to handle the state for some few months before going for fresh primary from then any aspirant that eventually merge as winner would be recognised as a party candidate. That is how peace can be restored in the state
