#KogiDecides | Supplementary Election Witnesses Mass Turn Out, Relatively Peaceful

The supplementary election being held in 91 polling units witnessed an impressive turn out of voters across the 18 affected local governments areas of Kogi State.

Accreditation of voters commenced as early as 8.00 a.m in most of the polling stations as electoral officials and electoral materials arrived early. Election process in most of the local government areas were relatively peaceful.

Hundreds of voters came out to cast their votes at Olamaboro, Ankpa, Adavi, Yagba East and Yagba West,Kabba/Bunu,Kogi and Ijumu local government areas.  Following yesterdays incident in Dekina, where INEC office and election materials were burnt down by yet to be identified arsonists, the police took stringent security measures to forestall further occurrence.
