Nigeria’s former Minister of State at the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence and former Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has returned to school, pursuing his third degree at the prestigious Harvard University, United States.
The Public Administration graduate of Texas Southern University who spoke to BREAKING TIMES exclusively on Monday, disclosed he has since settled into productive life after public service.
According to Obanikoro, “I am just returning from class. I am taking my time to study African History. I want to have deeper insights into the history of Africa and why we are where we are as a people.”
Obanikoro earned his B.Sc degree in Public Affairs and Master’s Degree in Public Administration (M.P.A) at the Texas Southern University, United States. He served as an intern with the Houston Adult Probation Department, Houston Texas. He worked as a social worker and later as the Head of the adolescent unit with Little Flower Children Service (an agency affiliated with New York City Department of Social Service).
He was until May 29, 2015, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Africa.
