Adamawa: Ngillari Endorses Ribadu

The campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has received a boost on Tuesday, as Governor Bala James Ngillari endorses his candidature, pledging his government’s support to him.

Receiving Ribadu at the Government House in Yola, Ngillari said he would rally round Ribadu’s candidature in order to ensure the victory of the PDP come 2015 general elections and to ensure that the party remains in power.

Ngillari stated that the candidature of Ribadu is a divine providence hence the need for him (Ngilari) to receive him in good faith, adding that with a well entrenched person like Ribadu, it will not be difficult for the party to retain its seat come 2015 general election in the state.

The governor expressed confidence that the stakeholders of the party will not afford the party to lose the Government House, as he said it is the only party with the right manifesto that will give the masses a better deal.

Speaking earlier, Ribadu promised to carry all aggrieved members of the party alone for the success of the party in 2015.

According to him, “as for me, all PDP aspirants and other members of the party are equal. People know me as a hard working person and I will use my wealth of experience to transform the state if elected in 2015.
