Nnamdi Kanu not advocating for restructuring of Nigeria – IPOB

by on May 4, 2017
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said that its supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is not advocating for restructuring of Nigeria but to restore a republic of Biafra where his people would be free from domination. He said that Mazi Kanu has said it long time ago that his only focus is to restore Biafra and nothing else, and that anybody who is trying to bring restructuring of Nigeria into the struggle for the liberation of Biafra is doing so to his or her own detriment.
The National Publicity Secretary of the group, Comrade Emmanuel Powerful, made the clarification in a press release made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Awka.
He averred that any person or group of persons who think that the IPOB leader can even dream of agreeing to restructuring or tampering with the ethos of the struggle is as deluded as those supporting Buhari, his directionless APC and one Nigeria.
“The struggle for Biafra’s independence is a divine project which no man born of a woman can stop. Those peddling fabricated stories should understand that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB members worldwide are the instruments which God Almighty (Chukwu Okike Abiama) decided to use for the liberation of Biafra people.
“The suffering of our people in Nigeria has reached the point of no return, and we are going to restore Biafra with truth and honesty,” he added.
