…Abia warriors seek NPFL survival as

The NPFL Match day 32 clash between Abia warriors and FC Ifeanyi in Umuahia on Sunday will stand out for two things as far as the teams are concerned.

With 14 placed Abia warriors battling to stay safe from the drop zone, FC Ifeanyi Ubah is still hopeful of making the last four that could guarantee the Anambra warriors a continental ticket.

While the Umuahia side will be approaching the game from anm advantaged side, following an impressive goalless draw against Niger Tornadoes, Coach Yaw Preko and his wards will try to guard against the incident that led to the team’s collapse that gave their two leading goals against Gombe United last week in Nnewi.

In other top flight actions, Rangers International will welcome River United in the battle of Continental drop outs, while two former champions, Enyimba International and Kano Pillars will battle for three points at the Yakubu Gowon stadium in Port Harcourt.

Table topper, Plateau United will seek to brighten their chances of sealing the trophy, when the play host to troubled Shooting Stars in Jos, just as second placed MFM could seek tp compound the woes of relegation bound Remo stars in Oshogbo.

Two other title chasing teams, El-Kanemi warriors and Akwa United will also fight for glory in what could be graded as the NPFL match of the week in Maiduguri.
