Obiano retreats as Okorocha lampoons him, demands Publication of Projects

Following the back down by Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State to stop bandying words with his Imo State counterpart, Governor Rochas Okorocha; the latter has refused to stop, demanding a publication of projects and an apology.

This is even as Governor Okorocha has for the first time said he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Jos, a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Jos, Plateau State, a Post graduate Diploma in Management from Benue State University, and an Advanced Diploma in Law, Security and Conflict Management; saying in education, he ranks higher than Obiano.

The disclosure was made in a statement signed by Okorocha’s Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemodo.

Okorocha said it was surprising that Governor Obiano who took on Governor Okorocha over claims of the decamping of three South East Governors to the All Progressives Congress (APC), would make a volte-face saying he initiated the so-called “politically motivated distractions”.

Okorocha maintained that it was proof that it was alcohol that was influencing Obiano’s comments all the while.

He queried how as a Governor of Anambra State that has a high Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and a small work force is finding it difficult to “publish his achievements at least to show that he is a good leader of his people and on the basis of that, he would be asking for second term”.

He said failure to publish the achievements means Obiano has nothing to show, saying he has lost the moral justification to ask for second tenure, saying Anambra people should take cognisance of that.

According to Okorocha, the 15,000 students of the Rochas Foundation Colleges with branches in Jos, (Plateau State), Ibadan (Oyo State), Owerri (Imo State), Ogboko (Imo State), Kano (Kano State) do not pay a dime.

Okorocha said there was no iota of truth to say Obiano has an edge over him because he is more educated saying “we were right when we said in our first response to Governor Obiano’s attack that comparing him with Rocha’s is like comparing Messi of Barcelona FC with one left winger in one Mberi Secondary School in Imo State”.

Okorocha is a criminal. He is living in a fool’s paradise deceiving himself. He can not be compared with Obiano in any way. Obiano has a track record of integrity. We knew where he worked and how he became rich. where has okorocha worked well. where can you trace his record of integrity. We were deceived by his philanthropy. But this 6 years or so in Imo Government house has brought out his true colour that he is a criminal with a questionable paternity.
