Super Eagles Assistant Captain, Ogenyi Onazi, has denied reports that he his contract with Turkish side, Trabzonspor has been terminated, despite his agent statement that his client has severed ties with the team.

Former Nigeria international defender, Stephen Ayodele Makinwa, who manages the 24 year old revealed that plans are in motion for the immediate cancellation of the contract agreement Onazi has with Trabzonspor, following a breach on the part of the Turkish side.

Makinwa claimed Onazi has not been paid for three months by the team and despite several reminders to the club to pay up what they owe his client, they refused to oblige, a situation which has made him reach out to FIFA to cancel his contract with the terms as stipulated by the laws governing none payment of salaries to a football player for three months.
