The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has raised an alarm over the deployment of Governor Yahaya Bello’s former ADC, Usman Musa Shigaba to monitor Saturday’s Governorship election in Kogi State.

In a statement released by the Party’s Deputy Director of Public Communication Comrade Austin Oka, Usman was accused of leading attacks on opposition party members in previous elections.

Oka alleged that the deployment of Usman meant that INEC at the national and state level were working towards ensuring Governor Yahaya Bello wins the election.

The PDP who appealed to INEC and the IG of police to rescind the decision to deploy the Kogi governors former security aide, added that it will not condone attempt by INEC and security agencies to cave into the pressure of the ruling party (APC).
