The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP South-South yesterday vowed to reclaim Edo State from the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the September 10, 2016 governorship election in the state.

Chairman, Edo Congress Election Panel, Sergeant Awuse who spoke at the PDP Congress in Edo State stated this after the re-election of former Chairman of the party, Chief Dan Orbih in a unanimous decision by delegates of the party from across the state.

Awuse said the PDP will put solid structure in place to take over the state and urged party faithful to put all negative tendencies aside to work for the victory of the party.

He also berated the anti-corruption war of President Buhari- led APC saying only PDP members are being persecuted on a daily basis in a bid to destabilise the party and called on members not to relent in the quest to take over power in the state.

The panel chairman stated, “We are here to put structure together that will take over power from the APC in Edo State.
